Literacy Project

In 2020, with the assistance of a matching District Grant, $5,000 worth of new books were purchased to give to refugee children living in Carlton. A range of age appropriate books were carefully selected. These books were then given to children and their parents as they attending local agencies including “Our Place” and maternal child health nurse visits.
